A haiku

Icicle splinter
Tree limbs crack like old bones
The snow queen’s harsh reign

A little something for the snow moon!

We are all thawed out from last week’s ice storm (and, in true Texas fashion, now in the 70s). It will take a while for all the tree debris to get picked up. Undoubtedly it will take even longer for insurance companies to do their part. We are looking forward to restocking our pile of firewood from the big limb that came down from our live oak! Waste not. . . .
