POETRY
Perseus
capped and cloaked with the shining arms of magic
stalwart in the grinning face of morass
he enters the laybrinthian juggernaut of his life
tossed into the straits from birth
offspring of the potentate
a chest full of carte blanche
washed down a circuitous trail
from conquest to conquest
he did his mother proud
while all the naysayers
along the way
arrested
turned to stone
I have another poem for Perseus, for his meteor shower. I will share that one later when I make a cyanotype to accompany it. Thank you, readers!
