Morning — IV
With the call to duty comes migration
from the incubating nest
to palaces of learning
and the vast web of work,
where all connect
and plug into the greater hive.
The Warrior Child enters the hive
during the swarm of migration,
the arrival that spawns connections
that take hold and nest
in her mind. All day she works
her way down the road of learning.
Just as the half-life of learning
births more rich honey in the hive,
so the Mother recognizes that her work
begins post migration,
when she rejoins her place in the nest
and settles down to reconnect.
Her own place of connection
dips into the well of abyssal learning,
where the source of revelation nests.
She roots, elbow deep in the hive,
with a sense of thought that migrates
from pillar to post, immersed in work.
