PHOTOGRAPHY
February, 3
Greetings and welcome to the third instalment of weekly updates for my 365 instant film project, as inspired by the photo-a-day-challenge invitation that Dennett shared! The past week was a full one; it was “short” since Monday was a holiday, but it felt like it lasted 12 days instead of the usual 7 (in a good way).
Sunday (Feb 19th) I convinced my boyfriend to go for a hike with me at Granger Lake. I had been there before for my Williamson County photo project, but only hiked a short distance; I had been waiting for the opportunity to go back again. It was significantly cooler than my previous visit (August, oh my), and also the trees were in a significantly different condition: they were bare of leaves, and many of them, thanks to the ice storm, were wrecked, even laying full length across the trail. Clean up takes a long time.
(There are a lot more photographs from Sunday’s hike, but I am not sharing them here. Keep an eye on my website if you’d like to see more.)
