Cozy season

Winter darkness encroaching
brings a new rhythm
summer habits hibernate,
the scraps swept together and stored
for safekeeping

It looks like a long night
but the sky ignites
and the darker it gets
the more the light can shine
the more each prick against
the skin of eternity intensifies
